How it works
Every dossier carries a 12-month strip with editor scores and climate normals. This tool lays several destinations side by side so you can see where your dates land well. Scores weigh weather, crowds, prices and events; a 5 is the month we would pick, a 1 is a month we would avoid.

Published climate normals (national meteorological services and WMO data), recorded in each dossier with sources.
Why does a sunny month score low?
Heat, crowds or prices can outweigh sunshine. Each month carries a note explaining the score.
